Niamat Masih's Story
Niamat Masih, a 63-year-old resident of Okara is struggling with a cataract in his left eye, he can no longer see clearly, which makes it difficult for him to go about his everyday activities. Following the doctor’s suggestion for a Phaco + IOL operation, Niamat Masih must now work to secure the funding required for this crucial eye treatment.
Niamat Masih lives in Okara in his own small home with his wife and their only son, who is still in school. Niamat Masih is the family’s only provider, bringing in 15,000 rupees a month from his work as a shopkeeper. His entire household depends on this meager amount for survival, leaving little space for unforeseen eye surgery.
Niamat Masih is in dire need of the sight-saving Phaco IOL operation, which is advised by the eye surgeon. But the cost of this treatment is more than he can afford right now. With rent, utilities, and his son’s schooling taking up a large amount of his monthly income, Niamat Masih finds himself trapped in a financial crisis.
Niamat said in despair:
“My vision is getting blurred day by day, making it gradually difficult to maintain my small shop and feed my family. Without help, my financial hardships become worse. I request to donate towards my eye surgery to restore my vision.”
At this critical stage, Niamat Masih’s case has been registered with Transparent Hands, and we are reaching out to caring people in the community to ask for their support for Niamat’s eye surgery.
By supporting his cause, you may help him regain his eyesight, regain his freedom, and resume his role as the major provider for his family. Your goodwill can be the beacon that guides Niamat Masih through this difficult chapter, opening the road for a better and stable life ahead.
