Donate for Rashid’s Open Heart Surgery
Rashid Iqbal's Story
Rashid’s tale of woes has reduced us to tears. His life-threatening disease has sucked every ounce of happiness from his life. We want to see Rashid Iqbal thrive. You can make it possible. Your donations can make it possible. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Rashid’s Open Heart Surgery as much as you can.
Two years ago, Forty Eight years old Rashid Iqbal suffered from chest pain and breathing problems. When these symptoms persisted, he consulted a doctor who advised him to undergo an Angiography. As per the results of Angiography, the doctor told Rashid that he is suffering from significant Ischemic Heart Disease. Triple vessel coronary artery disease (TVCAD) is an aggravated form of IHD that develops when the key vessels supplying blood to the heart get blocked. To treat this life-threatening condition, the cardiologist advised him to undergo a CABG open-heart surgery as soon as possible. The surgeon performs coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) to improve blood flow to the heart.
While a CABG improves the quality of life of a cardiac patient, it is an expensive surgical procedure nevertheless. Unfortunately, Rashid cannot afford the hefty cost of the surgery. He is the sole earner of his family. He works at a factory and despite long shifts and hectic duties, he hardly manages to earn PKR 15000 per month. The stress of the work has taken a toll on his condition as well. With a family of eight to raise, he is in no condition to arrange for his surgery. He told us:
“Even if I save up for an entire lifetime I won’t be able to raise enough funds for my surgery. Transparent Hands is my only hope now.”
After a lot of distress, with the help of their doctor, Rashid Iqbal has requested Transparent Hands for help. We wish to get him happy and healthy as soon as possible. But, we need your help with that. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Rashid’s Open Heart surgery as much as you can. Donate now!
Disclaimer: Transparent Hands makes sure that all the patients get surgery in time. If a patient requires urgent surgery and his/her condition is serious, Transparent Hands conducts the surgery immediately. In the meantime, his/her campaign stays active on the website until we raise the complete funding. The hospitals on our panel have complete trust in us and wait for the payments until the patient's funding is completed.
