Fate works in mysterious ways. At times, we are unable to wrap our heads around the cruelty of fate. Other times, we are in awe of how it works. Rizwan lost a leg in a serious road accident and our help can help him walk again. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Rizwan’s artificial leg as much as you can. 

Twenty-three years old Muhammad Rizwan had a terrible road accident in 2010. Rizwan was out for a house chore, he was riding a bicycle and was hit by a truck. Due to the severity of the wound, his leg had to be amputated at below knee level. The doctors installed a prosthetic leg installed the next year. After the wear and tear of 10 years, the leg has become dysfunctional now. Therefore, Rizwan needs a new artificial leg now. 

Unfortunately, Rizwan’s family is unable to bear the hefty cost of a prosthetic leg. Rizwan and his father are the only sources of income in their family. Due to his disability, Rizwan has been unable to work. His father works as a labourer and hardly earns PKR 5000 per month. To make ends meet, they have taken numerous debts as well. Therefore, they are in no position to arrange for Rizwan’s artificial leg. He told us:

“It kills me to see my father leave for work every morning. He is very old. Therefore, he should not be working this hard for me. I wish I could help him in some way. But I cannot even get up from the bed.”

With the help of his friend, Rizwan has registered his case with Transparent Hands. Now, we wish to get him back up on his feet as soon as possible but we need your help with that. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Rizwan’s artificial leg as much as you can.
