Sadia Bibi's Story
The pain becomes unbearable, when one has to endure emotional pain along with the physical pain. The same is the case of Sadia, 37 years old lady, who belongs to Khanewal and is preparing for her fifth consecutive delivery through LSC-section. Due to a lack of financial resources, she finds herself in complete despair and is waiting for some divine help that could rescue her from all of her misery. Sadia had 4 babies, out of which her youngest daughter died at the age of 2.5 years due to pneumonia. All these kids were delivered through the C section because of the complications in her pregnancy. Her husband works in press media and has a monthly income of 12000 PKR, which is hardly enough for a family of five. Her relatives came to provide monetary help in all these previous cases. But that door of help has closed as well, given how the pandemic has treated everyone in the last year or so. Sadia says:
“Doctors say that there is no way other than having a C section again for safe delivery. But I know my husband and I will never be able to arrange all that money. We hardly manage our household with his little income, even we wanted, but we never had a single penny to save for such instances. I am passing each day with only hope because it seems as if all the doors are closed.”
Transparent Hands wants to open the doors through which hope could shine again for Sadia. We want to help her and her family in these difficult times so they could feel that they live in a society of humans where people help other people and make their lives easy and tolerable. So, let’s come together and join hands for this noble cause of helping the needy, by arranging enough financial resources for Sadia so she could safely deliver her baby in good health. You know the patient, you know the story. All that is left for you to do is DONATE for Sadia Bibi’s LSCS!
