LSCS stands for lower uterine segment caesarian section. The commonest type of caesarian section, an incision in the lower uterine segment is made in this surgical method of delivering the baby. The usual indications for a LSCS include fetal malpresentation and troubles with the fetal heart rate. The procedure is safe and exactly what Saima Bibi has been recommended for the delivery of her third baby.

Saima, aged 26, got married at an early age. It is not as if it is her first experience with C-section, she has undergone the procedure twice already.
