Shakar Khan's Story

Imagine the discomfort of a seasonal cold and the ways it pulls the plug on your daily routine. You feel dizzy all the time, unable to sleep or work. The entire course of the day gets disrupted. Moreover, sleep doesn’t come as a relief either as you constantly shift sides to find a comfortable position to breathe freely. Unfortunately, Shakar Khan has been living like this for as long as he remembers. We wish to relieve him of this pain. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Shakar Khan’s Septoplasty as much as you can.

For the last three years, fifteen years old Shakar Khan has been suffering from nasal congestion and post nasal drip. His condition was diagnosed as a Deviated Nasal Septum. DNS is a deviation of the nasal septum from the normal center of the nasal cavity. This causes nasal obstruction and blockage of the respiratory tract.

To treat Shakar Khan’s horrible condition, the doctor has advised a Septoplasty. A septoplasty is a surgical procedure to straighten the bone and cartilage dividing the space between two nostrils (septum).

While the surgery promises a pain-free and comfortable life to Shakar Khan, it is in no way an accessible solution to him. Due to financial constraints, he cannot afford the cost of the surgery. He told us:

“My father does not have any health insurance. I am so grateful to our doctor for telling us about Transparent Hands. They have been so kind to us.”

Their doctor told Shakar Khan about Transparent Hands and he requested his father to register his case with us. Thereupon, we have assured his father that Transparent Hands will arrange their surgery for free. Now, all we need is your help, please donate as much as you can and help us put him out of his misery. Donate for Shakar Khan’s septoplasty now!

Shakar Khan's Story

Shakar Khan, a 15-year-old resident of Sibbi, has been enduring breathing difficulties and nasal blockage for the last three years. Upon consultation, he was diagnosed with left Deviated Nasal Septum. After the diagnosis was done, Shakar was advised to undergo a Septoplasty. A Septoplasty is a corrective surgical procedure done to straighten a deviated nasal septum. Hence, he was sent to Patel Hospital for his procedure on 13-12-2021 by Dr. Talha Ahmed Qureshi. Shakar Khan was discharged after three days of hospital stay in a stable condition. Shakar has now recovered and is living his life normally because of your kind donations.
