Sheraz Shabir's Story

Sheraz from Multan is a BSc student. He has been suffering from kidney pain for two years. The stones in the kidney were damaging it, and the doctors recommended the surgical removal of stones. Some of the kidney stones have passed through the bladder in urine. However, Sheraz is now diagnosed with a Left uterine stone, a life-threatening situation. While passing through the urinary tract, the stones can get stuck to the ureters and block the urine flow. The condition causes severe pain and requires prompt treatment. For this, Sheraz requires URS (ureteroscopy), DJ stenting, and Laser lithotripsy. Therefore, we request you to please donate for Sheraz’s Urological surgery as much as you can.

The procedure involves inserting a small telescope for visualizing (URS), DJ stents to keep the ureter open, and using a laser beam to break the stones. All of these medical interventions are quite expensive for Sheraz. His father, as a salesperson in a clothes shop, can hardly make ends meet. Sheraz’s mother stitches clothes to support the family. Sheraz also has three siblings, two sisters, and one brother. His brother is also a student doing his FSc.  Hence, his father and mother are the only wage-earners and cannot afford the expenses of Sheraz’s treatment. Sheraz’s father says:

“I feel very guilty in front of my son. He is in pain, and I cannot do anything for him. He is a shining and bright student. Unfortunately, he suffers from such pain. We are terrified that we will lose our brilliant son, and it is a nightmare for any parent.”
