19 years old Shoaib Khan’s sense of hearing is gradually declining. We wish to put a halt to it as soon as we can. Please donate for Shoaib Khan’s tympanoplasty as much as you can. 

For the last four years, Shoaib Khan has been suffering from discharge from his left ear. Later, along with discharge, he suffered a noticeable decline in his sense of hearing. Upon thorough examination by an ENT specialist Shoaib Khan was advised to undergo a tympanoplasty for his left ear. The surgeon performs a tympanoplasty when the eardrum has a hole that does not close on its own. It is done to improve hearing and prevent water from getting into the middle ear. Surgery is the swift solution for Shoaib Khan’s ailment. However, it is not an accessible one. 

Due to the limited resources, Shoaib Khan cannot afford the cost of his surgery. Shoaib Khan and his father earn their livings by working as salesmen at a local shop. Their combined monthly income is PKR 25000 per month. In this income, they hardly cover rent and household expenses.

“I often blame myself for not paying attention to my son’s constant complaints about his condition. How could I? In a household where putting the food on the table is the biggest worry, who has time to pay heed to minor ailments? But, now, the discharge has become painful for him. The doctor has advised surgery, and Transparent Hands is our only way to get it” -Shoaib Khan’s father.
