Muhammad Siddique 's Story

Muhammad Siddique has experienced a lot of stress and pain over the last few months. He has lost his right leg due to a diabetic wound. The loss of his leg has impaired his daily activities. He needs your support to acquire an artificial leg so he can walk independently again. Due to financial constraints, his family cannot afford to pay for an artificial leg. We urge you to donate for Siddique’s artificial leg to bring relief to his life.

Muhammad Siddique, a 50-year-old resident of Sheikhupura, suffers from diabetes and developed a foot infection six months ago. His foot became inflamed, and he went to the doctor for a check-up. The doctor just prescribed symptomatic treatment. With time, his inflammation became worse and progressed to gangrene. He was taken to a specialist care facility where the doctor had to amputate his right leg below the knee level. Now, he needs a prosthetic leg to regain mobility.

He lives with his wife, four daughters, and son-in-law in a small house. His son-in-law is taking care of all the family’s needs. He earns just PKR 20,000 per month. With this meager income, his son-in-law cannot afford to pay for the artificial leg. Siddique expressed his despair with the following words:

“The loss of ability to carry out my basic tasks independently is an unimaginable challenge for me. I don’t want to be a burden on my family. I request all donors to help me with acquiring an artificial leg, which will make it possible for me to return to my normal life.”

Someone referred him to Transparent Hands and he submitted his documents. Now, his case is registered with us, and we have promised to provide him with a prosthesis. With your support, we can bring relief to his life. His hopes are in your hands now. Please come forward and donate for Siddique’s artificial leg to make his life easy. Your donations will certainly help Siddique walk again.

So, he contacted Transparent Hands and Hope Rehabilitation Centre to get an artificial leg. Under the supervision of Dr. Khalid, his right below-knee prosthesis was fixed on 31-03-2023. He is overjoyed to be able to walk again after receiving an artificial leg. Help us to give artificial legs to deserving one's like Siddique.
