Uzair Ahmed, a 21-year-old resident of Karachi, has been suffering from pain and swelling in the groin area for a few months. He went to the doctor for a consultation. He was diagnosed with an inguinal hernia after a thorough evaluation and diagnostic tests. It is a medical condition when part of the intestines or other tissues stick out through a weak spot or tear in the abdominal muscles in the inguinal area, near the groin. The doctor advised him to undergo an inguinal hernioplasty. A mesh patch is used to reinforce the weakened abdominal muscles in order to repair an inguinal hernia.

He faces a difficult financial situation as he lives in a rented house and is financially dependent on his father. Due to his financial instability, he cannot afford the expenses of the necessary surgery. He said it in despair.
