Yashfeen Shafiq's Story
Yashfeen was born with severe congenital heart defects. Only Open-Heart Surgery can save her life, but her father cannot afford the expense of this costly surgery due to financial constraints. Your financial gift can help us save her heart. We urge you to donate for Yashfeen’s Open-Heart Surgery to help her to live her life to the fullest. She is a little girl with a whole life ahead of her. You are the only hope for her helpless parents.
Seven-year-old Yashfeen Shafiq, a resident of Azad Kashmir, has been suffering from dyspnea, cyanosis, and episodes of chest pain since birth. She is also unable to gain weight. Her parents came to know about her condition when she was one year old. After running some diagnostic tests, the cardiologist diagnosed her with multiple heart defects, including Dextrocardia, Situs Inversus, and Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). The cardiac surgeon advised her to undergo Open-Heart Surgery for Total Correction after Angiography.
She lives in a rented house with her parents and three siblings. Her father is the only breadwinner in the family. He earns only PKR 20,000 per month. He has no other source of income. With this meager income, her father can’t afford the hefty cost of cardiac surgery. Her father said in a depressed tone:
“I want to see my daughter fulfill all her dreams in the future with a healthy heart. It is only possible with cardiac surgery. Please support Yashfeen’s Open-Heart Surgery by donating generously.”
Her father is extremely concerned about his daughter’s deteriorating condition and contacted Transparent Hands to register her case. We are determined to fully support her Open-Heart Surgery, but we need your donations to save this little girl’s heart. Her parents have exhausted all other options and have placed their hopes in your hands. We request that you donate for Yashfeen’s Open-Heart Surgery to add many years to her life. Even a small contribution can change her future and help her play and live like all the other kids her age.
