Before you proceed to read about the details of Younus’s cardiac ailments, please know that you can help him. Your donation, however small it may be, will relieve an ailing heart. For the last year, forty-nine years old Younus has been suffering from Angina Pectoris. Angina pectoris is the medical term for chest pain or discomfort due to coronary heart disease. It occurs when the heart muscle does not get as much blood as it needs. This usually happens after one or more of the heart’s arteries narrow down or block. However, the doctors still do not have a proper diagnosis. To get the diagnosis, the doctor has advised Younus to undergo a Left Heart Catheterization. Left heart catheterization is the passage of a thin flexible tube (catheter) into the left side of the heart. It is to diagnose or treat certain heart problems.

Unfortunately, Younus cannot afford the cost of an LHC. He works as a street hawker and hardly manages to earn PKR 15,000 per month. In this measly income, he is hardly able to provide for his family. He is currently not in the position to arrange for his cardiac procedure. He told us:

“Life’s stresses keep piling up one by one. When I first suffered from chest pain, I thought it to be just a minor indigestion. But, later, it proved to be something far more dangerous. Whoever is reading this, I request you to please help us.”

Muhammad Younus went to several hospitals in search of affordable treatment. But, unfortunately, he could not get it anywhere. Therefore, after a lot of distress, he has requested Transparent Hands for help. We wish to get him happy and healthy as soon as we can. But, that won’t be possible without your help.
