Hussnain Irfan's Story

“My son cries frequently due to his discomfort but I cannot do anything to relieve his pain. I do not have money to pay for his surgery. His father has left us and never looked back. Please help me and donate for my son’s surgery so that he can grow normally like his siblings.” – pleaded Irfan’s mother.

Hussnain Irfan is a 5 years old child, who was born with Anorectal malformation and is unable to pass stools normally. He underwent his first colostomy surgery when he was only 1 day old. A temporary stoma bag was attached to his abdomen to avoid the blockage of his intestine.

He is experiencing altered bowel movements, abdominal discomfort and is unable to perform his normal bodily functions. His clothes become dirty frequently and his parents cannot maintain his basic hygiene.

Doctors have advised him a second surgery for permanent relief. But they are extending the surgery date due to long list of patients already waiting for surgeries. Hussnain’s father has abandoned them and has denied to take the responsibility of his wife and children. It is unfortunate to see that this man never cared about the well-being of his family.

Hussnain’s mother works as a maid and earns only 3000 PKR per month in which they hardly manage to have two-times meal. She has no proper income to support her household expenses. She is struggling hard to survive with her 3 children. Someone from her neighborhood told them about free surgical treatment facility of Transparent Hands and they immediately came here.
