Hussnain Irfan's Story

“I have seen him in discomfort and constant suffering. Nights and days are more or less same for him. He does not sleep much. His state of anxiety keeps him irritated and awake for hours” –Hussnain’s father.

5 years old, Hussnain was born with Anorectal Malformation. His first surgery was done right after few minutes of his birth –for making a stoma (An artificially created hole in the abdomen for rerouting of the bowel).

For his permanent treatment his mother visited many local hospitals but none of them gave him proper assistance. Hussnain suffers from hygienic issues, bowel infection and at times constipation too.

His parents are separated and all the expenses, whether household or medical, are on the shoulders of his mother. She works as housemaid in different houses and earns 3,000 PKR a month.

Hussnain along with his mother came to Transparent Hands for free of cost surgery. His medical history was examined thoroughly. The reports prescribe the need for his 2nd surgery of ARM Colostomy as soon as possible which awaits your donations. So donate now.

Your Donations can bring a ‘5 years old’ into his perfect health.

Hussnain Irfan's Story

Hussain Irfan, 5 years old, was suffering from anorectal malformation (ARM) resulting in an absent back passage- an imperforate anus. His emergency colostomy was done at birth to make a temporary passage for stool and his posterior sagittal anorectoplasty (PSARP) was done 6 months ago through Transparent Hands. He was advised surgery to reverse his colostomy. His surgery was done at Akram Medical Complex on 18-10-19 by Dr Naveed Haider. He stayed for four days in hospital with good post-operative recovery and was discharged with advice.
