Jalib Iftikhar's Story
“Jalib may still live with his arm’s deformation but life would be half-paralyzed and he’d not be able to fulfill his dream of completing his studies and supporting his family.”
Jalib is a 19 years old young boy suffering from Left Arm Cubitus Varus after a fall due to which his left arm is angled away from the body to a greater degree than normal.
He was born normally with proper bodily functions and had no physical troubles. But his life took an upsetting turn when he had a major fracture in his left arm elbow after he fell down from the rooftop at the age of 8 years.
He was immediately taken to a hospital and had his first surgery at that age. Doctor recommended him a second surgery for permanent relief at the age of 18 but he couldn’t undergo this operation due to his family’s financial instability. When his father’s friend informed them about Transparent Hands, they rushed to us for help.
Jalib’s father sells Cigarette/Paan in his own shop and earns only 10,000 PKR per month. Within this meager income, he fulfills all the basic necessities of his wife and 3 sons. All his sons are studying hard to support their father in future except Jalib who finds it hard to study actively due to his painful arm. While his friends take part in many activities in school, he sits there sadly and watch them play.
Right now, Jalib needs surgery and proper follow-up visits to gain better functional outcome of his left arm. His life has hardly begun. At this stage, only your donations can provide him permanent relief.
Your kind donation for his surgery can help him enjoy the warmth and wealth of the world at its fullest.
