Kiran Fatima is a 5 years old girl who lives in Sheikhupura with her parents and 2 siblings. They all live in her uncle’s house as they don’t have their own place to live. Kiran is a patient of Anteriorty Placed Anus since birth. There is no proper passage for stool made on her body. Her parents requested a hospital for free surgical treatment and they agreed to conduct her surgery. Five years have passed but Kiran didn’t get surgery date yet.

Her parents visited the hospital many times but each time they are given a new appointment date. Kiran wants to go to school but she cannot even go out of her home due to her condition. She experiences severe constipation due to which her mother has to use a dilator for stool passage through genital tract. Kiran also experiences abdominal pain all the time due to which she is unable to play or sit comfortably. Her family don’t have enough money to treat her from a private hospital. Her father works as a daily wage labourer and hardly earns around 15,000 rupees a month. In such meager income, they hardly manage to make both ends meet. Luckily, Kiran’s parents came to know about Transparent Hands through someone and they immediately brought her here.

Kiran is now scheduled for her Anal Trans-positioning in a few days at Akram Medical Complex. It’s her parents request to please donate for their child’s surgery so that she can get rid of all her painful symptoms and starts going to school.

Kiran Fatima 5 years old baby girl was suffering from Anorectal Malformation (ARM) resulting in abnormal back passage opening into genitalia. Her anal opening was anteriorly placed. She was advised surgery to construct her back passage at the normal site. Her surgery was done in Akram Medical Complex on 25-10-18 by Dr. Naveed Haider and her Anal Transposition was done. She stayed for six days in hospital with good post-operative recovery and discharged with her normally working back passage.
