Muhammad Essa's Story
Your little support can save the life of this poor boy!
Muhammad Essa is a 3.5 years old boy who belongs to a rural area of Mardaan. He lives with his sister and parents in a small house with three other families from Essa’s paternal side. Muhammad Essa loves to play with his cousins and his younger sister who is two years older than him. He wants to go to school but unfortunately his poor health is not allowing him to start school until he is recovered completely.
Muhammad Essa was born with a complex congenital cyanotic heart defect that involves a hole in the septum between the heart’s two lower or pumping chambers (ventricles). Throughout his childhood, Essa has undergone medical treatment for his heart but that could only provide him relief for some time. Doctor has suggested cardiac surgery with CP shunt for permanent relief. Essa’s parents don’t have enough money to pay for the surgical expenses. They went to many local hospitals for free of cost surgical treatment but nobody paid attention to them.
Essa’s father works as a driver and earns only 18,000 rupees a month. In such meager income, this family hardly makes both ends meet. They cannot afford to pay for the surgical expense of their little son. Muhammad Essa has been suffering for more than 3 years. He experiences shortness of breath, fast heart rate, sweating, respiratory infections and failure to gain weight. If not treated on time, Essa’s life will be in serious danger.
Somebody told them about Transparent Hands and Essa’s father immediately brought him here. Essa is now scheduled to undergo heart surgery in a few days at Ittefaq Hospital by Dr. Salman. His surgery will not be possible without your kind support.
Donate as much as you can for Essa’s surgery and save his life!
