Muhammad Rafique's Story
“Seeing my father in so much pain hurts me every moment. I tried saving money but it was not enough to pay for his surgical expenses. If I spend all of my salary on his treatment, how am I going to feed my parents? They depend on me for every little need. I’ve no way to treat my father. Please help him with your donations. You are our last hope.” – Rafique’s son
Muhammad Rafique, 66 years old, is diagnosed with BPH (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia) – a condition caused by the abnormal enlargement of the prostate gland. He has been suffering from severe abdominal pain for years and unable to control his urination.
A few years back, when Muhammad Rafique faced difficulty in urinating, he went to a doctor and took medicines but it couldn’t help him at all. The doctor told him countless times that it was a minor infection and could be treated by placing a catheter. However, after being catheterized several times, he didn’t get relief. At last, he was diagnosed with BPH after undergoing some tests recommended by another doctor.
Muhammad Rafique requires an Urethrocystoscopy but he is unable to afford this procedure. He used to work as a salesperson, but lost his job due to his health issues and is unable to work anymore. He has two sons. The eldest son is married and has his own family to look after and his youngest son is a rickshaw driver who earns around 14000 rupees a month. Muhammad went to many hospitals for free treatment but nothing worked in his favor due to lack of resources. Luckily, he contacted Transparent Hands through someone and requested for help.
This old father is now scheduled for his surgery in a few days but he needs your support and prayers. Don’t let him down like others and support him with your donations.
