Muhammad Usman's Story

Muhammad Usman is a heart patient since birth. After diagnosis they went to many government hospitals for his treatment but none of them proved to be fruitful as they did not give proper attention. In one of the government hospitals doctor advised him a ‘heart surgery’ as soon as possible to avoid any future complications.

His father works as a carpenter who earns 18000/- PKR a month. They live in a ‘3 Marla’ house with joint family. With rising prices of nearly everything, Usman’s father is facing a great difficulty in catering every need of his family. The burden of Usman’s treatment has added to his tensions due to the unaffordability and lack of financial resources.

“Even if we don’t eat for a week or two yet I will be unable to pay for the surgery that cost too much and is out of my wildest reach”- M. Usman’s father shared in a sheer despair.

On hearing about Transparent Hands, Usman’s father visited the office and explained the whole case. On hearing the case, necessary and immediate assistance was given but Usman needs to undergo a final ‘Open Heart Surgery’ for the ‘heart disease of TOF and small PDA’ that is not something to be ignored and needs an immediate attention.
