Nisha Mehreen's Story
“I couldn’t give my daughter anything except suffering and grief. Her heart condition is worsening day by day but I cannot do anything to help her. I need your support to conduct her surgery. Please help my daughter.” – pleaded Nisha’s father.
Nisha Mehreen is a 22 years old young lady suffering from Mitral Stenosis for the last 2 years. She coughs so terribly that blood comes out of her mouth. She also has breathing difficulties and swelling in ankles and feet. She feels fatigued all the time and cannot sleep at night due to pain and stiffness in her left arm.
Her father took her to a local hospital for checkup and they diagnosed her heart problem after doing some tests. They had advised her father to take her to another hospital specific for heart patients. There, the doctor informed her father about her severe heart condition and advised the patient to undergo immediate surgery and replace the affected heart valve.
Nisha’s father is a driver who earns just 14,000 PKR per month. They are 5 brothers and 4 sisters and all of them are studying except the elder brother, who has just started to work in a barber shop and earns only 500 PKR per month. The whole family is living in a small house and is mostly depended on their father for survival.
In these circumstances, Nisha’s father does not have the money to pay for her expensive surgery. Despite her critical condition, she has been kept on medication for the last 2 years.
Nisha needs our help at this toughest phase of her life. She is scheduled for her cardiac surgery in a few days at National Hospital, Lahore but it will only be possible if you come forward and support her.
Please donate and save this young girl’s life!
