Rani Bibi 's Story

“My mother had suffered terribly due to her physical illness and mental stress. I cannot see her living like this anymore with so much pain and agony. I just want to see my mother in good health. After my father’s death, my mother is all that I have with me. Please help us to pay for my mother’s surgery.” – pleaded Rani Bibi’s youngest daughter.

Rani Bibi is a 54 years old widow who is suffering from lump/swelling in Thyroid and is on medication from last 9 years for her illness.

Her health condition began to deteriorate last month as she experienced symptoms like increase in the size of gland, pain at the base of her neck, breathing difficulties and terrible cough. She is unable to eat properly due to swallowing difficulties. She is also a patient of hypertensive heart disease but her blood pressure is normal from the past 2 months and disease is controlled.

She went to local hospitals for treatment but doctors advised her surgery for permanent relief. Unfortunately, she does not have the money to pay for her expensive surgery and medical bills.

Rani Bibi’s husband has died 8 years ago so she started to work as a housemaid to support herself and her youngest daughter who is a student of class 9.  Her elder daughters are married and living separately with their in-laws. She is now depending on her elder son-in-law for her day-to-day expenses as she is unable to go to work due to her illness.

But now, I’ve become extremely tired. I’m unable to work and earn for my family. I have to rely on my son in law for every little need which is killing me inside. ” –  Rani Bibi
