Razia Bibi's Story
“The happiness of my family depends on the health of my wife. She is the mother of my children and is very precious to me. Your kindness and generosity will restore her health.” – Razia Bibi’s husband.
Razia is 50 years old and from last 3 years, she has been experiencing pain in her right Hypochondriac area, associated with abdominal distention, pain and discomfort. She visited many government and private hospitals and was diagnosed with Cholelithiasis. The doctors have advised surgery as permanent cure.
Razia is going through intense pain. She cannot carry out ordinary, domestic chores and is unable to look after her family. Her household is greatly disturbed due to her illness.
She has 5 sons and 2 daughters. 4 children are school going, elder 2 are married and one son is a laborer, earning 400 PKR per day. Her husband sells vegetables, making 250 PKR each day. They live in a small house granted temporarily by the government. It is not possible for them to bear the costs of Razia’s surgery.
When Razia came to know about Transparent Hands, she immediately contacted the organization for free surgical treatment.
