Saban bibi 's Story

“My mother has suffered so much after our father passed away. Now she is going through even more pain due to her illness. I feel so guilty not being able to help her due to my financial inability. Please save my mother, she is everything to me.” – Saban’s son pleaded.

Saban Bibi is widowed for about thirty years and she has looked after her children, all on her own. She has two sons and seven daughters – all of them are married except the youngest daughter. This 72 year old widow now lives with her youngest daughter and a married son, in a small house.

Saban is suffering from prolapsed uterus from the last four years. Her symptoms have, however, worsened over past two years. She is experiencing frequent abdominal pain and back ache making her unable, even to sit. The doctors have now advised her surgery as a permanent cure.

The son she lives with, has two children of his own. He is an “Imam Masjid” earning only 5000 PKR a month. He is the sole provider for his mother, sister, wife and children. Having such financial responsibility on him, he cannot arrange money for his mother’s treatment.

He was really upset but thankfully he came across Transparent Hands. He requested TH to fully fund the medical expenses of his mother’s surgery.
