Donate Safina Roshan for her Hysterectomy
Safina Roshan's Story
“I’m worried about the well being of my wife and children. My wife is suffering terribly due to her illness and cannot get proper treatment only due to my financial inability. My children get upset seeing their mother in trouble and I have no words to console them. I don’t know how to get rid of this depressing situation.”- Safina’s husband
Safina Roshan is a 48 years old homemaker suffering from heavy menstrual bleeding from the last 2 years. She also experiences severe pain in her lower abdomen. Her prolonged physical suffering has started to affect her mentally as well.
She was worked up and diagnosed with chronic endometrisis – chronic inflammation of uterine lining which is caused by an infection in the uterus. Due to her disease, she experiences frequent headaches and severe pain in her muscles and joints. Her condition doesn’t improve even after taking medication.
She lives in Azad Kashmir and has visited many hospitals for relief. When no treatment or medication could heal her, she came to Islamabad for a cure but nothing could provide her relief. She went to a few local hospitals in Lahore where doctors advised her to undergo surgery immediately.
She belongs to an underprivileged family and cannot afford to pay for her costly surgery. Her husband is a retired officer who receives 17000 PKR monthly pension which is the only source of income this family has. Within this meager income, they are managing their household expenses along with the educational costs of their 5 children. Currently, the whole family is going through financial crisis to meet the healthcare expenses of Safina.
Safina is now registered with Transparent Hands.
“Our financial support can give Safina immense relief from her physical agony and everlasting peace of mind.”
