Samreen Zahra's Story

“From the last couple of months, my daughter has been suffering from stomach ache and vomiting due to Appendicitis. She needs to get operated immediately as the appendix can rupture. Samreen is an intelligent girl studying in eighth grade. Her only wish is to become a doctor when she grows up. However, her disease isn’t letting her study actively like she used to do before. Samreen started losing her interest in everything due to fatigue. Her condition worsened when she started feeling frequent pain in right iliac area along with occasional vomiting. She was taken to a hospital and was diagnosed with appendicitis and doctor advised surgery as soon as possible.

Samreen lives with her parents and 4 siblings in a small house in Mian Channu. Her father is a farmer who earns only 15,000 PKR per month. Despite his meager income, he is sending his children to school as he wants better future for them. Unfortunately, paying for the surgery of his daughter is beyond his financial capability. Samreen’s parents have requested Transparent Hands for the free surgical treatment of their daughter.

Samreen Zahra's Story

Samreen Zahra 13 years old girl had sudden onset of pain in her Rt. Lower abdomen. She was diagnosed as a case of acute appendicitis and was advised appendectomy. Her surgery was done on 07-03-19 at Abid Hospital Mian, Channu by Dr. Abdul Saeed Sajid. She recovered well in her two days of hospital stay and was discharged in good health.
