Sehr Fatima's Story

“I am a heart patient and cannot work properly to provide for my family. The expensive surgery that my wife needs in unaffordable for me. Please donate for my wife’s operation and relieve her from her terrible suffering.” – Sehr Fatima’s husband requested.

Sehr is 24 years old. From the last two years, she has been experiencing intense pain in her Right Hypochondriac area; associated with abdominal distention, stretch and discomfort. After visiting different hospitals, she was diagnosed with Cholelithiasis and the doctors have advised surgery as long term cure.

Sehr has two school going children; a son and a daughter. Her husband is a clerk for a lawyer and earns 15000 PKR a month. However, he is a patient of Ischemic Heart Disease. 6 years ago, he had a heart attack and his recent angiography revealed triple vessel disease. As a result, he cannot go to work regularly. It has become hard for him to fulfil the needs of his family. They live in a small house provided by parents.

Sehr is unable to carry out domestic chores due to pain. It is quite difficult for her to look after her family, especially her little kids.

Her husband was deeply worried at the thought of arranging money for Sehr’s surgery. Luckily, he came across Transparent Hands and requested for free surgery of his wife.

Sehr Fatima's Story

Sehr Fatima 24 years old lady was suffering from frequent episodes of pain in Rt. Hypochondrium. She was diagnosed to have Symptomatic Gallstones and was advised surgery for this condition. Her Laparoscopic cholecystectomy was done on 12-05-19 in Abid Hospital, Mian Channu by Dr. Abdul Saeed Sajjid. She remained admitted for 2 days in hospital and had good post-operative recovery. She was discharged symptom free in good health.
