Farah Salman's Story
Farah Salman, aged 32 is a resident of Lahore. Due to some pregnancy related complications, she had her first child born after cesarean section. Now she is expecting for the second time. Now when 25 weeks of pregnancy have passed, after routine check-up the gynecologist has advised her lower segment Caesarean section (LSCS) again. Farah’s husband can not afford her procedure and she shared her story as follows:
“We were very happy to find out that we are going to be parents for the second time. I prayed to Almighty for a safe delivery, but my blood pressure remains out of control. We were lucky to find a good doctor but she advised me to undergo LSCS. We were worried about affording this procedure as my husband has a private job and earns around PKR. 18,000 per month. In this meagre amount my husband is also supporting a family of eight that includes his mother, two brothers, three sisters, me and our child. Farah Salman's Story
Farah Salman, aged 32 years, had a history of a C-section. Therefore, her gynaecologist recommended surgery for the delivery of her second baby as well. For this purpose, Farah was admitted to Lahore Care Hospital and her C-section was carried out by Dr. Rakhshanda on 29.05.2021. She gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby boy. Farah stayed in the hospital for two days and was discharged in satisfactory condition. Both mother and baby are doing well.
