Abdul Ahad's Story

Abdul Ahad, 8 years old, is suffering from a right undescended testicle, a condition in which the testicle does not move into its proper position after birth. In order to correct his condition, the doctor recommended surgery known as orchidopexy when he was 6 months old because ideally, this surgery should be conducted early on. Abdul’s parents, however, could not afford the costs of the surgery and had to keep delaying it.

Abdul’s father, Tahir Asghar, is a pickup truck loader who earns barely 12,000 PKR a month. This income is responsible for 6 family members which include Tahir, his wife, and their 4 children. Unable to afford a living space of their own, they reside in a small house that is lent to them by Abdul’s grandparents.

“We were told that the sooner he had the surgery, the better. We tried year after year to find our son medical help but everyone turned us away. For 8 long years, we have struggled and failed, and my son has had to live with his condition.” – Abdul’s father.

Abdul and his family need your help. Your financial assistance with Abdul’s surgery will be greatly appreciated by them.
