Abdul Hadi's Story

Abdul Hadi, aged 1 year, a resident of Lahore, is a playful, jolly young fellow. His smile brightens up his mother’s day. He seemed perfectly healthy, however, when he turned around two months old, his mother noticed that he had a defect. She immediately took him to a doctor for consultation. On check-up, it was discovered that Abdul Hadi’s right testicle had failed to descend into the scrotum. The doctor told his mother that he needed a surgery called Orchidopexy. This surgery would be performed to move Abdul Hadi’s undescended testicle to its right position in the scrotum.

Their family visited multiple local hospitals in the hope of getting an appointment for surgery at a minimal price. However, they were not facilitated anywhere. This became a source of great anxiety for his parents. As his father works in a private office and earns only PKR. 30,000 per month. In this meager salary, he supports seven members of his family. Naturally, he has no money left to save. This is why he could not think of any way to afford his child’s surgery.

He shared his difficult situation with a friend who told him about our organization. Abdul Hadi visited our office with his father and we registered his case. This is what his father had to say:
