Anum Ghafar's Story

Anum Ghafar, age 22, is currently pregnant with her second child and is 30 weeks along her pregnancy. Her first operation was done at a private hospital with financial help from relatives. This time, Anum and her husband have been unable to receive financial help from anyone and do not have the resources for the C-section

Anum, her husband and daughter live in a small space in Lahore. Her husband, a labourer, earns 16,000 PKR per month. This salary covers their expenses with difficulty and at the end of the month, they do not have any savings left.

“We are truly lucky that my gynecologist informed me about Transparent Hands. Without help from this organization, we would not have had any place to go for help. We hope that the donors respond timely and my C-section can be successfully done.” – Anum

Without any other source of help, Anum’s C section can only be conducted through your donations.

Kindly come to her aid.
