2-year-old Aric Farooq lives in a small house in Kasur, Punjab with his parents and three brothers Aric loves to play but his painful disease is not letting him live a normal childhood like his brothers.
Aric was only a year old when he was diagnosed with right inguinal hernia. Initially, his mother recognized a few symptoms and the fact that he was in pain. With time the swelling and pain in his groin increased and he couldn’t even sit up straight. His parents immediately visited a hospital where the doctor advised a herniotomy to fix the hernia. Aric’s father is a labourer and earns only 16,000 PKR a month. His father is devastated as he cannot pay for his son’s treatment.
During one of their visits to a doctor in their locality, they learned about Transparent Hands and reached out for help.
