Ayesha Akram's Story

“Ayesha’s entire life has been filled with miseries and tears. Unlike other kids of her age, she has spent most of her life with restrictions. She couldn’t play outside for 3 years due to her congenital defect and finally, when she received medical care and was all set to start her school, she was now diagnosed with another disease. Please save my only child. I cannot see her suffer all her life just because she was born into a poor family.” – Ayesha’s mother

Ayesha is the only daughter of her parents. This 3 years old toddler has been through a lot in her life already. Ever since she was born, her parents have been visiting hospitals one after another. Not a day goes by when Ayesha doesn’t complain of pain. When Ayesha was 15 days old, doctors informed her parents that she has no back passage and emergency surgery was done in which a temporary passage for stools was made on her abdomen. After that, she underwent two more surgeries until her back passage was constructed at the normal site.

Finally, when Ayesha recovered completely and was excited to go to school, she complained of severe abdominal pain. Her parents rushed to the hospital and were devastated to know that their daughter’s struggles are not over yet. Ayesha was diagnosed with Lt. Inguinal Hernia which needs surgical intervention.

Ayesha’s father is a rickshaw driver and he has already spent all his savings on her medications. Now, he is left with nothing to treat his beloved daughter. They requested Transparent Hands once again to conduct their daughter’s surgery.
