Balqees Bibi 's Story
“My mother is my life, she has always helped me through everything. Now, she is in dire of surgery. My father is already fighting a deadly disease. I don’t want my mother to go through the same pain my father has endured. I need your support to pay for her treatment. Please help me.” – Balqees Bibi’s son
58 years old Balqees’s only desire is to live the rest of her life in good health but maybe destiny has something else to offer to her. She has been to many doctors for her treatment and every time she returns home with no hopes. Balqees has always been perfectly fit but for the last 2 years, her hernia has been causing severe pain and swelling in her umbilical area.
She tolerated the pain initially as her husband didn’t have money to get her treated but now, her symptoms are becoming worse with each passing day. She cannot even get up and perform her household chores. Her husband doesn’t work anymore as he is a patient of Asthma and Hepatitis C. They are dependent on their son for their needs. This family is already living from hand to mouth. In such circumstances, they can’t pay for her surgery. They visited a few hospitals but none of them offered any support to this helpless mother.
Let’s put an end to her years of pain and misery
