Benish Bibi's Story
Benish Bibi, 24 years old, is currently pregnant with her second child. She has a 2-year-old son who was delivered through C-section due to the nature of her complicated pregnancy. Since she wasn’t given an appointment at her local hospital to have the surgery for free, she sold the few pieces of jewelry she had to arrange for it at a private hospital.
This time again, the doctor has advised her to undergo an operation for a smooth and safe delivery but she does not have any resources to pay for the medical costs. Her husband earns around 13,000 PKR a month by working as a daily wager and can barely meet the basic day-to-day needs of his family. Benish has also been unable to get a free appointment at her local hospital once again and has now requested Transparent Hands to aid her.

Benish Bibi's Story
Benish Bibi, 22 years old, was about to have her 2nd childbirth. She had her surgeries done for previous childbirths. This time, she was advised elective surgery again. Her C-section was successfully done on 23-05-20 in Medicare Hospital, Rawalpindi, by Dr. Rizwana Chaudhry. She stayed for two days in the hospital and was discharged along with her healthy baby.
