56 years old Habib ur Rehman was diagnosed with Triple Vessel Disease around one year ago when he had a heart attack. Luckily he survived the attack and was put under observation for some time until he recovered. Since then, he has been taking medicines for his heart disease. Around two months ago, he had a severe heart attack again but this time, it was nearly fatal. Doctors performed his angiography and advised him to undergo open heart surgery as soon as possible.

Habib used to work as a laborer and earned 15,000 PKR a month but now he is unable to even go out of his home. He experiences frequent chest pain and shortness of breath due to which he is bedridden most of the times. His family of 7 members lives in a small house in Lahore. His 2 sons are working but even their collective income is not enough to pay for the expenses of open heart surgery that their father needs. They visited a few hospitals for free treatment but they are giving him a long waiting time period. At last this family came across Transparent Hands and asked for help.
