Irshad Hussain's Story
Irshad Hussain, 48 years old, suffered an accident a few months ago, which resulted in an injury to his right leg. He was rushed to Mayo hospital where his surgery was done in which his tibia bone was fixed using a long plate. Even though his wound had not completely healed, he was discharged from the hospital. Since then, Irshad has been living with the infected wound.
He visited multiple hospitals to get his treatment but was denied help every time. As of now, Irshad’s leg is in constant pain due to infection and cannot bear weight. He requires the removal of his infected implants as soon possible.
Irshad ran his own tea stall and hardly earned enough for his survival. Since his wound got infected, Irshad had to close his tea stall, and move in with his brother’s family. He is financially dependent on his brother and other relatives and has no source of income.
Luckily, Irshad came across Transparent Hands. We have taken up his case and need your help to raise money for his surgery.
“I already feel like a burden on my own family. They take care of all my expenses. My only hope is finding help through this organization.” – Irshad Hussain

Irshad Hussain's Story
48-year-old Irshad Hussain injured his right leg about a year ago. His surgery to fix the tibia bone was done at Mayo hospital. Postoperatively, he suffered from infected wounds and discharge from the site of operation. On complete check-up, he was diagnosed to have infected implant in his right tibia. The doctor advised removal of this infected implant. For this purpose, Irshad was admitted in Maryam Memorial hospital and the procedure was performed by Dr. Rahman Rasool Akhtar on 27.10.2020. His infected plate and screws were removed. Irshad stayed in the hospital for two days and was discharged in a satisfactory condition. He is on his way to a complete recovery.
“The condition of my wounds was deteriorating day by day. The infected implant was causing a lot of pain. However, the doctor has finally removed it. I am very grateful since this timely treatment has relieved me of the constant pain and discomfort. I feel so much better that I intend to restart my tea stall in a few days.”- Irshad Hussain said
