Irshad Hussain's Story

Irshad Hussain, 48 years old, suffered an accident a few months ago, which resulted in an injury to his right leg. He was rushed to Mayo hospital where his surgery was done in which his tibia bone was fixed using a long plate. Even though his wound had not completely healed, he was discharged from the hospital. Since then, Irshad has been living with the infected wound.

He visited multiple hospitals to get his treatment but was denied help every time. As of now, Irshad’s leg is in constant pain due to infection and cannot bear weight. He requires the removal of his infected implants as soon possible.

Irshad ran his own tea stall and hardly earned enough for his survival. Since his wound got infected, Irshad had to close his tea stall, and move in with his brother’s family. He is financially dependent on his brother and other relatives and has no source of income.
