Mansha Naseer's Story

14 years old Mansha Naseer has been suffering from a sore throat for almost three years now. Initially, the pain was bearable but gradually it increased to a severe point and poor Mansha was unable to swallow her food painlessly. Upon consistent pain, Mansha was taken to a hospital where the doctor diagnosed her with chronic tonsillitis – a persistent infection of tonsils.

Seeing her condition, the doctor has told Mansha that a Tonsillectomy is the only option for her chronic disease. Tonsillectomy is a surgical procedure in which both the infected tonsils are completely removed from the throat.

Mansha’s father is a daily wageworker and hardly earns PKR 10,000 per month. With this limited income, he has to support a family of six individuals including 5 school-going children. Thus, due to the poor socioeconomic circumstances, he cannot afford to arrange surgery for his daughter.

“The doctor has told us that the surgery is the last resort for my daughter. We cannot even afford to get her medicine let alone bear the financial stress of surgery. Please help us because we as parents cannot see their children in pain.” -Mansha Naseer’s mother

Mansha’s parents have registered their case with Transparent Hands. Please donate to put a little girl out of her misery. Please donate to Mansha Naseer for her tonsillectomy and donate as much as you can.

Please Note: In certain situations, we proceed with the patient's surgery/medical procedure despite incomplete funding displayed on the website. Following the surgery/medical procedure, we persist in collecting funds and maintain the campaign on the website until funding is secured in full. Hospitals have granted us a grace period for bill payment.
