Maryam Sajid's Story
Maryam Sajid, age 37 years, has been experiencing pain in her right hypochondriac area along with abdominal distention, stretch, and vomiting for the past several months due to cholelithiasis (gallstones). She has been unable to get treatment due to her financial state. Her symptoms have grown much worse in the last week. For permanent relief, her doctor has advised surgery to remove the gallbladder.
Maryam, her four children, and her husband do not have any reliable source of income to depend on. Ever since her husband suffered a stroke 5 years ago, he has been too weak and ill to work. Maryam and her family are currently getting by with financial help from her mother but the amount her mother can spare is barely enough to buy basic essentials. That is why, despite being sick and in pain for so long, Maryam has not been able to have her surgery. When she found out that Transparent Hands arranges free surgeries for deserving people, she contacted us and was registered for donations. Maryam now awaits your contributions to proceed with her surgery.

Maryam Sajid's Story
Maryam Sajid, 37 years old, was diagnosed with stones in her gallbladder (cholelithiasis) and was advised a laparoscopic cholecystectomy for it. She was admitted in Maryam Memorial Hospital and the surgery was performed by Dr. Faryal Azhar on 13.10.2020. Maryam’s gallbladder having stones was successfully removed. She stayed in the hospital for two days and was discharged in a stable condition. Her abdominal pain has subsided and she has recovered well from her surgery.
