Donate to Niamat Bibi for Her Lobectomy and Isthmusectomy
Niamat Bibi's Story
Niamat Bibi, age 40 years, has been suffering from swelling in front of her neck for almost a decade. Recently, she had a few tests that diagnosed the swelling as a cold nodule of the thyroid gland. Her husband took her to many local hospitals but she didn’t find relief. Doctors gave her medications that simply did not work. To treat this disease permanently, the doctor advised her to undergo surgery- a lobectomy and an isthmusectomy.
“I experience severe pain in my throat and it is difficult to breathe, especially while doing work. I have been struggling with this for ten long years. I hope I find relief soon.”- Niamat Bibi
Niamat Bibi and her husband don’t have enough money to pay for the surgical costs. They are already struggling with meeting their day to day expenses. Niamat bibi herself works as a housemaid and is paid 5000 PKR a month. Her husband, a farmer, earns 10,000 PKR a month. Their combined income supports this couple as well as their 4 small children, one of whom has suffered from traumatic head injuries in an accident and requires frequent medical care.
Niamat Bibi has requested Transparent Hands to help with the surgery. Your donations can ease her suffering and help her live a normal and healthy life.
Please contribute generously.
