Nizam -U-Din's Story

“There was a pain in his eyes which couldn’t be described in words. When this 73 years old father approached the doctor for his check-up, he was hardly able to walk. His only daughter is married and he had no other choice but to live in an Old Age Home for the rest of his life. He has made friends here but at times, he misses his wife and daughter. He prays to go back to his family but it’s not possible as he has no one to look after him now except this home which has become his permanent abode now.”

73 years old Nizam-u-Din has been living in an old age home for a few years now. He has one daughter who is married and happily settled with her family. Even though she often visits her father, she cannot take him with her due to some family issues.

Since last 15 years, Nizam’s health has not been really good. He underwent 3 operations for hernia during these years but none of the operations was successfully carried out. He has been diagnosed with hernia for the 4th time now and needs to undergo Hernioplasty for relief. During a medical camp by Transparent Hands, Nizam-u-Din expressed his disappointment for not getting the right treatment. Finally, he is now scheduled for his surgery once again but this time he’s hopeful that he’ll never get hernia back again.

He should not go through another painful journey once again, help him before its too late

As he is residing in an old age home, he relies on a little pocket money given by some kind people like you. Bearing the cost of his surgery is beyond his financial capability. This poor father requests you to donate a little amount for his surgical treatment and let him live the rest of his life in good health.

Nizam -U-Din's Story

Nizam-U-Din, 73 years old, was suffering from pain due to recurrent right inguinal hernia. His surgery was carried out but the hernia returned, so he was advised another surgery to get rid of it permanently. His surgery- a hernioplasty, along with obliteration of canal, was done on 22-10-19 at Akram Medical Complex by Dr Ahmed Fawad. Nizam remained admitted for four days and recovered well. He was discharged in a stable condition.
