Donate to Rukhsana Bibi for her LS C-section
Rukhsana Bibi's Story
“It is such an expensive procedure. We sold our valuables and were somehow able to scrape together enough money for my previous C-sections. I have nothing left to sell now. All I want is for my baby to come into this world safely but I do not know how to arrange for that.” – Rukhsana Bibi
Rukhsana Bibi, 26 years old, experienced difficult prolonged labor during two earlier pregnancies due to which, her babies were delivered via Lower Segment C-section (LS CS). Her third baby is also scheduled to be delivered in the same way but the procedure is proving to be unaffordable for the family.
Rukhsana’s husband is a street food seller who earns, on average, 400 rupees a day. With this, they have to feed 4 mouths and run the small house they live in. The house is owned by her husband’s parents. They sold their livestock and valuable ornaments for the first two deliveries. Left with no funds for the third, they visited several local and government hospitals for a free procedure but to no avail.
When the family found out about Transparent Hands, they immediately asked for help.

Rukhsana Bibi's Story
Rukhsana Bibi, 28 years old, was about to have her 3rd child. All her previous childbirths were C-sections. This time, she was advised elective surgery again. Her C- Section was done on 14-12-19, at Abid Hospital, Mian Channu, by Dr Sadaf Aqeel. She was happy to give birth to a baby girl.
