Donate to Said Muhammad for His Open Appendectomy
Said Muhammad's Story
55-year-old Said Muhammad started experiencing acute pain in the right iliac fossa a few days ago and has been diagnosed with acute appendicitis. The doctors at he emergency of the local hospital recommended an operation- an open appendectomy under general anaesthesia- to remove the appendix as soon as possible.
Said Muhamamd’s name has been added to the waiting list and has not been given a date. Since his infection has progressed quite far, if he waits that long, his appendix could rupture and cause a far more serious and life-threatening infection in his body
Said is the sole breadwinner of the family. He supports his wife, 4 children and 3 younger brothers who reside in the same 7 marla house as him and his family. He works as a security guard at a private company and earns about PKR 25000 per month. This is barely enough to meet the family’s basic requirements each month.
Hence, having Said’s surgery at a private hospital is too expensive and not an option for them. In desperate need of urgent help, Said Muhammad has contacted Transparent Hands.
“I have tried my best to look out for my family and brothers on my own. However, now I am in urgent need of help. I cannot get my surgery done alone. I hardly manage to earn enough to feed my family and brothers. But I know there are kind people out there who will help me before it is too late.”– Said Muhammad
With your timely help, Said Muhammad’s appendectomy can be conducted at the earliest and his life can be out of danger.
