Saima Sajjad's Story

27-year-old Saima Sajjad is 30 weeks pregnant with her second baby. Since her first baby was delivered via C-section, she has been advised a C-section delivery by her doctor this time as well.

Elective C-section is a costly operation, especially for people belonging to underprivileged backgrounds in a country like Pakistan. Saima’s family lives in a small house, which costs 7000 PKR rent per month. Her husband earns 18000 PKR only, an amount grossly insufficient to cover the family’s living costs. Despite her situation, Saima is hopeful about the future of her baby. She knows that she will find help.

“At the 30th week of my pregnancy, I go through emotions that have nothing to do with hormones. Conflicting thoughts of depression and hope fight inside my head. However, ever since Transparent Hands has offered their kind help to me, it is hope that wins more often now.”

By donating for Saima’s elective C-section, you can keep her hope alive. Join hands with Transparent Hands to make sure she has a successful operation!
