Saira Bibi's Story

Saira Bibi, 35 years old, is expecting her third baby. She has one elder daughter who is 3 years old and a younger 1.5-year-old son. Due to complications during the pregnancies, her previous childbirths were through C-sections and were carried out with financial support from her parents. This time around, her delivery has to be through a C-section again but she does not have the resources for the surgery and her parents are unable to lend her a hand.

Saira and her husband, Ibrar Hussain, live in a joint family system with Ibrar’s four brothers and their families. The five families share a very small house together. Ibrar earns an average of 9000 PKR a month working as an assistant plumber. Part of this income is spent on meeting his own family’s needs and part of it is contributed towards the expenditures of the joint family. At the end of the month, all the expenses leave him with no savings.

When Saira Bibi and Ibrar found out about Transparent Hands, they hoped that the C-section surgery could be funded through this platform.

“I need help to make sure my child makes it into this world safely and my wife comes to no harm.” Ibrar Hussain

They now await your donations. Please help them out.
