Donate to Shamim Akhtar for Her C-Section
Shamim Akhtar's Story
Shamim Akhtar, 25 years old, is pregnant with her first child. Over the progression of her pregnancy, she is suffering from breech presentation. In this condition, the position of the fetus is such that its feet are presenting instead of the head. Since normal delivery is not possible in this position, she has been advised a C-section to deliver her baby. Shamim has not been able to get an appointment at her local hospital due to a long waitlist and needs to arrange the money to get the procedure done privately.
Shamim’s husband, Muhammad Zeeshan, draws a meager salary of 8000 PKR a month as an office boy. He is responsible for his wife as well as his father and sister. Zeeshan and Shamim do not own their own house or any other property or valuables. and live with Zeeshan’s father.
“We have been blessed by God and we are thankful every day. I just know that help will find me somehow and my surgery will be done. Our house will finally be alive with the beautiful laughter of a baby.” Shamim Akhtar
While overjoyed at the prospect of having a child for the first time, this couple does not have the resources for a C-section surgery and has requested your help.
Please donate to them to ensure the safe delivery of their first child!
