Sidra Hassan's Story
26-year-old Sidra Hassan, belonging to the small town of Swabi, KPK, is currently pregnant with her second child. She delivered her first child via a C-section and this time as well, her doctor has recommended her to undergo an operation as normal delivery could cause complications.
Nowadays, Sidra’s husband is jobless and her family is going through a very tough time financially. The only income for this three-member household is Sidra’s earning of 10,000 PKR/month.
“I am the only one making a living in the house currently. And as my due date draws nearer, I am worried because I will have to take time off work and my family would have nothing to eat. In fact, I hadn’t even started to wonder how I would arrange for my operation until recently when it struck me that I cannot manage the expenses on my own. I was relieved to hear of a place I could approach for help.” – Sidra
Even in this tough time, Sidra is not hopeless and she is definitely not helpless. With your support backing us, we can easily arrange for Sidra’s C-section to take place at a quality medical facility, so please don’t hesitate to donate to her today!
