Tanzila Naz's Story

Tanzila Naz, a 34-year-old woman from district Khanewal suffers from a disease called cholelithiasis. This is the technical term for what is commonly known as gallstone formation. For a decade or so, Tanzila has been writhing with pain because of this condition, complaining about abdominal cramps and vomiting frequently. However, it is in the last year or so that her condition worsened to an extent that surgical treatment for this has become critically crucial for Tanzila’s health. It is called laparoscopic cholecystectomy, a surgical procedure for removing the gallbladder completely. We will explain how this surgery can make Tanzila’s life painless once more. Tanzila is a proud mother of two sons and a housewife. It is her husband who is the sole breadwinner of the house. Tanzila Naz's Story

Tanzila Naz, 34 years old, was diagnosed with cholelithiasis (gallstones) for persistent pain in her right side of upper abdomen. She was recommended a laparoscopic cholecystectomy. For this purpose, she was admitted in Abid hospital and was operated by Dr. Abdul Saeed Sajid on 14.11.2020. Her gallbladder containing stones was successfully removed. Tanzila stayed in the hospital for two days and was discharged in a stable condition. She has resumed her normal daily life activities.
