Usman Ali 's Story
“He keeps asking me why he has to visit hospitals and what is wrong with him but I’ve no answers. He may look fit and healthy from outside but if he’s not treated in time, he may face severe complications in future. I’ve tried my best to arrange money for his surgery but I failed. I failed my only son and it’s killing me every moment.” – Usman’s father
3 years old Usman Ali has been suffering from Sub Coronal Hypospadias – the opening of the urethra at a location other than the tip of his genital organ. He was diagnosed with this disease when he was born. Doctors informed his parents to be prepared for his surgery. Without surgical treatment, he may face repeated urinary tract infections. It can also cause infertility.
Usman’s father is unable to bear the cost of his surgery. He works as a laborer and earns around 15,000 PKR a month. He has one younger sister. This family lives in a small town of Sheikhupura in a joint family system. Usman’s parents have taken him to several hospitals but all of them demanded a huge amount of money for his surgery. When nothing worked in their favor, someone told them about Transparent Hands and they came to Lahore for their son’s treatment. This little boy is now looking forward to your help which could bring him back to normal life.
