Empower Mima Ashraf to Safely Deliver Her Baby

Mima Ashraf's Story
Mima Ashraf, a 29-year-old woman from Karachi, is approaching the end of her pregnancy. She is 37 weeks pregnant and has already gone through three C-sections in the past. Due to her medical history, her doctor has strongly advised another C-section to ensure the safety of both the mother and baby. However, the cost of the procedure is something Mima and her husband simply cannot manage on their own.
Mima is anxious about her unborn child and deeply concerned about her own health. Without the C-section, there are serious risks involved, such as complications during labor, uterine rupture, or even danger to the baby’s life. After already having three surgical deliveries, a natural birth is not an option for her.
Mima lives in a small rented house with her husband and three children. Her husband works at a private company and earns a modest monthly income of PKR 30,000. With this meager income, PKR 6000 is spent on rent, and another PKR 10,000 goes towards utility bills. Two of their children are enrolled in a madrasa. With groceries, daily expenses, and the needs of their growing children, there is hardly anything left to save.
Mima shared her feelings with teary eyes as follows:
“I’ve carried this baby for nine months with so much love and care. But now, as the time to give birth draws near, I’m extremely worried because of the cost of the surgery. I just want a safe delivery, to hold my baby in my arms, and to go back home to my other children.”
You have the power to turn Mima’s fear into relief. Your support can help her safely deliver her baby and return home as a healthy and happy mother. Let’s stand by Mima in this crucial moment and ensure a safe beginning for her newborn.
