Empower Musfirah With the Power of Hearing
Musfirah Bibi's Story
Musfirah, a 2-year-old resident of Khairpur, has been silently battling hearing loss since birth. It was only when she turned one year old, that her parents discovered her condition and immediately sought medical help. They took her to the nearest hospital, where, after undergoing various diagnostic tests, the doctor recommended cochlear implant surgery as the best solution for Musfirah’s hearing impairment.
Living in a small, one-room house in a village in Khairpur, Musfirah resides with her loving parents. She is their only beloved child, and they strive to provide her with a bright future. However, her father, who works as a daily wager, earns a meager monthly income of 30,000 PKR. He is the sole breadwinner of the family, with no other sources of income. The financial constraints they face make it impossible for Musfirah’s father to afford the costly expenses associated with her surgical procedure.
On top of the daily expenses and utility bills, which amount to 2,000 PKR, Musfirah’s father struggles to make ends meet. The daunting burden of providing for the family leaves no room for the additional financial strain of the much-needed cochlear implant surgery.
Musfirah’s father said it with teary eyes:
“I plea for your generosity to help my beloved daughter hear the world around her. With your support towards her cochlear implant surgery, you can bring immeasurable joy and endless possibilities to her life.”
Musfirah’s parents are filled with worry and desperation, as they long for their daughter to experience the joy of sound and live a life without limitations. They have heard about the Transparent Hands and they humbly appeal for financial assistance in making Musfirah’s dream a reality.
By contributing to Musfirah’s campaign and supporting her cochlear implant surgery, you can make an everlasting impact on her life. Your donation will not only give Musfirah the ability to hear but also open a world of opportunities and happiness for her.

Musfirah Bibi's Story
Musfirah, a 2-year-old resident of Khairpur, had been suffering from congenital deafness since birth. She never responded to her parents’ voices and the sounds around her. Concerned about her condition, her parents consulted a doctor who conducted some diagnostic tests. After a thorough examination and evaluation, the doctor diagnosed Musfirah with congenital Sensorineural Hearing loss (SNHL) and recommended cochlear implant surgery for it. However, the significant cost of the surgery was overwhelming for Musfirah’s family.
Musfirah’s father, a daily wage laborer with an insufficient monthly income, struggled to provide for his family. They live in a small two-room rented house. Musfirah’s father is the sole provider for the family and barely manages to cover the utility bills, house rent, and other living expenses. He couldn’t afford to pay for his daughter’s surgery.
During this challenging time, they learned about Transparent Hands and contacted us. We listened to their concerns and promptly registered Musfirah’s case.
On June 5, 2024, little Musfirah was admitted to the GIMS hospital in Gambat. The surgery took place on June 6, 2024. Dr. Maqbool Ahmed and his team performed the procedure and inserted the internal component of the cochlear implant with the utmost care and precision.
Six weeks after the surgery, the external component was carefully fitted and installed. Musfirah regularly attends speech therapy sessions to improve her communication and hearing.
Musfirah’s parents were overwhelmed with gratitude and described their happiness as follows:
“We are happy and can’t forget the moment when she turned her head at the sound of our voices for the first time. You made our daughter’s surgery possible. We can never forget your generosity.
Today, Musfirah is thriving and learning to navigate the world of sounds. Her parents cannot believe the transformation they see in their daughter. They are deeply grateful to you for making this surgery possible. As Musfirah continues her journey, her parents know that she has a bright future filled with opportunities. You made a significant difference in Musfirah’s life.
